Red Fort, Delhi
This masterpiece of the Mughal era built in red sandstone by Shahjahan epitomises the brilliance of Mughal architecture and lends a historic touch to the capital of India- Delhi. The lush green lawns of the Red Fort, the larger than life ambience of the fort, the famous sound and light show that recreates the Mughal era get embedded in the hearts and minds of the visitors for a lifetime.
The Prime minister's address to the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort reestablishes The Red Fort as a symbol of immense power and might from where India was once ruled by the Mughals- Dilli Sultanate. The look and feel of the streets of Purani Dilli, the lip smacking delicacies around, the traditional artefacts of the Mughal period entice you back to the Mughal empire.

This pair of pillars is a treat to the tourists and a heaven for historians and archaeologists worldwide.

The Birla Mandir as it is famously called built by the great industrialist Shri J.K. Birla in 1939 is situated in the centre of Delhi near Connaught Place. The pious precincts of the temple, its beautiful altars and the yummy prasad of peda make it a delightful place for a perfect family outing.
